7 Days Honshu Experience
Day 01: Day on the flight from Singapore to Tokyo, Japan.
Day 02: A whole world of fun and excitement is awaiting at Tokyo Disney Resort. Enjoy the dreams and magic of Tokyo Disneyland. Last but not least, shop at Shinjuku, the heartbeat of the present day Tokyo.
Day 03: After breakfast, proceed to the famous Asakusa Kannon Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo. A huge red lantern at Kaminarimon Gate marks this temple and you will find many souvenir shops along the long narrow street called Nakamise Avenue. And then, a photo stop at the Tokyo Tower. Then on to the Yokohama Chinatown, the largest Chinese settlement in Japan. Once inside the colourful gates of Chinatown, see more than 500 brightly coloured shops line the streets. Next, visit Akarenga - Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, a shopper's paradise where you will find many chic and fashionable clothing shops and also the Ramen Museum, where you will see many types of noodles and get to try them. Next, proceed to Lake Kawaguchi enjoy a night clad in typical Japanese Yukata and experience the true traditional culture of Japanese Nabe dinner as well as a session of Japanese Onsen(hot spring bath) in the hotel.
Day 04: After breakfast, visit the Owakudani Valley, also known as the "Boiling Valley", where sulphurous fumes rise from the crevices in rocks. You may even have the chance to taste the eggs that are cooked by Mother Nature, which are believed to have therapeutic effects. Next, proceed to the magnificent and acclaimed Mt. Fuji, the symbolic peak in Japan. A stop will be made at the 5th station. Thereafter, proceed on to Hamamatsu station and experience the mighty speed of the Bullet Train and zoom off to Toyohashi.
Day 05: Proceed to Kyoto the ancient capital of Japan for more than 10 centuries after your breakfast. Highlights of Kyoto include a visit to the Kinkakuji Temple or Golden Pavilion, built in 1394 as a villa for the shogun. Next, visit Japan's national treasure, the Kiyomizu Temple, where its cliff-edge veranda offers spectacular view of Kyoto and its surrounding. After which, visit Nishijin Textile Centre for its traditional textile production, which you will also be treated to a kimono show. Thereafter, drive pass "Gion Corner"(a former Geisha district), where you might catch a glimpse of Maikosan. In the late afternoon, proceed to Osaka City for a great shopping experience at the famous Shinsaibashi shopping streets.
Day 06: The Osaka Castle is our first stop. On display are various weapons, armors and folklife items of olden days. There is a viewing spot on the 8th floor, which overlooks the beautiful city. Next, a whole day of fun and excitement is waiting at Universal Studios Japan! Based on many of Universal's highly successful motion pictures, you will feel as if you actually jumped onto a scene of your favourite movie. Brace yourself for the greatest ride in history with "Back To The Future - The Ride", race across the moon and fly beyond the stars with "E.T. Adventure", sink with "The Great Terror of JAWS" and many more! And don't forget to shop at the Hard Rock Cafe.
Day 07: After breakfast, it's leisure time until your transfer to Itami Airport (via Tokyo) for your flight back to Singapore with sweet memories of ANA First Choice Holiday.
